Post and Insurance Age content director Jonathan Swift has written and commented about the insurance industry since 1998. He has appeared on television speaking about topics as diverse as the insurance implications of Michael Jackson's death to the consequences of consolidation on motor premiums; and is a past winner of the British Insurance Brokers' Association journalist of the year and Association of British Insurers general insurance trade journalist prizes.
Jonathan has chaired/ hosted over 100 insurance events from roundtables involving a small specially invited audience, to addressing over 2000 people at the British Insurance Awards at the Royal Albert Hall. He is listed as a top 50 insurtech influencer by Insurtech News and presently coordinates the All Party Parliamentary Group for Insurance and Financial Services.

He has served as Vice President of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII); Chair of the CII Broking Faculty; Deputy Chair of the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA), and Chair of BIBA’s Large Brokers Committee, demonstrating his commitment to quality standards.
He is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Partners& and PIKL.

Andy has held the position of CEO at Broker Network since August 2014. Prior to joining the Network he was Managing Director at Footman James, a classic car & bike insurance broker. Andy has a wealth of industry experience including serving on the UK Board of AXA, latterly as Chief Operating Officer. He established the insurance and customer service proposition at First Direct, and was part of the original Countrywide Insurance marketing team. Andy holds an MBA from the University of Warwick Business School.

Richard has just shy of 40 years’ insurance experience having started his career with General Accident in 1986. In 2000, Richard moved to Hiscox Insurance Company where he took on responsibility for establishing the London branch, before moving to HCC International as Director of its professional indemnity (PI) division in 2004. In 2008, he took on the role of Head of Marketing & Broker Development working with all underwriting divisions of HCC International until 2010, when Richard joined the newly established Manchester Underwriting Management (MUM) as a Director working across the business.
In 2021, Pen Underwriting acquired MUM as a full-service, multi-class underwriting agency specialising in professional indemnity, management liability and casualty insurance business. Following integration, Richard took on the role of Managing Director for UK Financial Lines & Specialist Liability, which encompasses MUM and Pen’s specialist teams in UK professional indemnity, specialist liability, recruitment and UK solicitors’ PI business.

Adrian joined Ecclesiastical in July 2014, his role as Commercial Director is responsible for delivering both Ecclesiastical and Ansvar's intermediated distribution strategy. He is responsible for our regional offices in Manchester, Birmingham, and London along with the Corporate business in Gloucester and Ansvar in Eastbourne.
His career in insurance spans over 30 years focused on sales, marketing, distribution and underwriting. He has held senior roles at Marsh, Zurich and Hiscox.
